Description
Downloadable PDF versions of the following two works by D.F.E. Sykes:
- The History of Huddersfield and its Vicinity (1898)
- The History of Huddersfield and the Valleys of the Colne, the Holme and the Dearne (1906)
Please note that both books can also be read online for free. However, if you would like to show your support for the Huddersfield Exposed web site and enable us to continue digitising historic material, all of the income will be used to help secure more items. Whenever possible, the items will then be donated to one of the local public archives so that they are preserved for future generations.
The two PDFs contain a combined total of 1,016 pages.

The author, Daniel Frederick Edward Sykes, died on 4 June 1920 and his works entered the Public Domain on 1 January 1971.
