Description

A high-resolution downloadable scan of an undated and uncaptioned sepia photograph by Bray & Son (Holmfirth).

Likely taken in the late 1910s or early 1920s, the young rugby players are presumably from somewhere in the Holmfirth area.

The photograph was scanned at 2,400 dots per inch (DPI), giving a final image with dimensions of 12,496 by 7,646 pixels. Minor blemishes were sympathetically restored using Adobe Photoshop.
